Amber Hanschu, O.D.

Dr. Hanschu, a native Kansan, graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. During her training, she enjoyed traveling to Mexico and Belize for optometric mission work. She was also active in extracurricular activities including serving as secretary for the American Optometric Student Association, vice president of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and the chair of Sprint for Sight.

 

Dr. Hanschu completed an internship with the University Eye Center in St. Louis, followed by an externship with the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., and TLC Laser Eye Center in St. Louis. Dr. Hanschu is currently a member of the Kansas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry.

 

Dr. Hanschu and her husband, Brandon, live in Manhattan with their twins, Addison and Gavin.
