About Genstler Eye Center
Genstler Eye Center was started by Arla Genstler, MD in 1996 in a 1,200 square foot office with two support staff. Over the years, we have grown from that 1,200 square foot space to three locations (Lawrence, Topeka, and Manhattan, KS), an ambulatory surgery center, five doctors and over 40 support staff. Our growth is the direct result of our mission to be of service to others. It’s through that service mindset that we have become a Center for Excellence in Ophthalmology in the beautiful state of Kansas!
Our doctors take great pride in being proficient in medical decision making and efficient, safe and precise in surgery. Their interactions with patients, staff and the community embody our core values: service, excellence, professionalism, leadership, teamwork and education.
